About me
My name is Anna Burson, I am 20 years old and from a small town in Illinois called Yorkville. Some of my hobbies include knitting, reading, and running (TBD on the running part, I am currently training for a 10K so I would not call it a hobby YET). My favorite food is pasta, I love finding new recipes to cook (very poorly, but yummy nonetheless). I played volleyball for most of my life, and currently play with my friends on an intramural team! I LOVE music and movies, see below for some of my favorites at the moment.
Education
I am currently a Junior at University of Wisconsin-Madison, double majoring in Information and Data Science, also seeking to achieve a certificate in digital studies. I am a member of 3 different clubs on campus: Women in Business Technology, Design Interactive, and Code to Connect.
Work
I currently work for Wisconsin Child Welfare Public Development System, a social work company based in Madison. WCWPDS provides trainings for social workers, foster parents, and anyone in between; I work behind the scenes as an IT Specialist. I spend most of my time working to improve any and all technology needs for our trainers, including but not limited to: testing software, implementing accessibility practices, researching new platforms, etc.
